Martin Smith is a Broker with One Percent Realty Limited. He graduated with a Bachelor Of Science from the University Of Western Ontario. He then went on to earn his MBA from Queens University. He worked as a Management Consultant which helped broaden his experience. He was eventually recruited to join an engineered wood products manufacturer in the USA as a Senior Business Manager with the task of improving the overall productivity of the operation. His goal was to eventually return home to Ontario where he wanted to pursue a career in real estate.

Martin began his real estate career working with a well known brokerage with the focus on traditional real estate. He was an award winning agent with sales volume that was above the industry average. He has a proven track record in the real estate industry with more than a 100 transactions to date. He understands the importance of technology in changing the role of the real estate professional in todays market. His primary goal has always been to exceed his clients expectations by offering value to their home selling experience .

Why I Moved To One Percent Realty

I have always been competitive in terms of commission while working in traditional real estate. In fact, I have been offering low commission real estate services years before moving to One Percent Realty with the Evusto team which now part of One Percent Realty. Many industries have changed with the increasing use of technology. The internet has changed the way we work which is especially true in real estate. It is only logical that home sellers also benefit with lower commission. Many agents haven been reluctant to reduce their commission which has created an imbalance in the market. I have decided that providing value to my clients is more important. At One Percent Realty, I can develop my business model of offering lower commission to my clients with the full service they deserve. I look forward to working with many new clients in 2026.
